What connection are you looking for Teresa? You have already connected yourself to Antonio as your great grandfather.

You may find this site useful if you are struggling with Italian ancestors. http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/en

I have tagged your question with Italian Roots so maybe someone with more experience can offer you help.

I looked on Ancestry and just found some documents that were probably posted by you, unless another Teresa is researching this family.  Anyway, I am pretty sure the mother's name was Maria Salvaggio.

Well, if Giordono was born in Castlefranco chances are his parents were too. The first place to see if you can find anything is in the Castelfranco records. The best thing to do is to check out  Antedati to see if there are records. Or you can contact the commune office.

You can use Google translate to translate to Italian. They won't mind that.

Thank you so much!
No problem. All the the commune office would want is the specifics. Name and specific dates and they'll want to know how you are related. In this case it would be your bisnonno or great-grandfather.
