I have a Marriage Certificate - Kezia Withers m. Joseph Hodges on Nov. 18, 1838.  Fathers occupation is three capital letters - unreadable but like F?K but what can it mean?

1871 census has a Thomas Withers born 1793 who is a Frame Work Knitter. Could that explain your F...K?

Lots of frame work knitters in Leicestershire. You might find this interesting https://www.frameworkknittersmuseum.org.uk/learning/family-history/
Also the voters list for the 1832 election in Leicester has several Withers including 2 Thomases who were fw knitters. (this election was the first to be held in which the franchise had been extended. )
