George Frederick William Holterman born in Hamburg Germany (1842)  married  Elisa Pearce Towl of Devon (ca 1850) who married in 1869 In Stoke Damerel, Devon  ,  they had 8 children ( 2 born in Hanover, 6 in London ( M'sex and Essex)
He worked as an accountant and a traveling beer salesman
I can't find census data before 1881  but the family might have been living abraod in Hannover germany  ( the girls being born in 1870ies)
I found census data for 1911 Woolwich but then George FW Holterman was lodging with his daugther in OLd Charlton Woolwich
He died in 1916 in Greenwich

who can tell me more details about him and his wife Elisa
