Information on Paxton Family

Two of my grandmother's have the maiden name Paxton.  I have not found much out about them this far.  I have searched ancestry multiple times.  One of my grandmothers was Elizabeth Paxton.  My other grandmother was Rachel Paxton she married Louis Gluck (spelled Click in TN).  Anyway, I can't find their origins.  If anyone has any information I would appreciate it.  They lived in Counties in Northeast TN.

Re: Elizabeth Paxton Boyd:  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Paxton-972

Is it possible Elizabeth's first name is Rosanna?  I found a Rosanna Elizabeth who married James A. Boyd on 13 Jan 1836 in Rutherford, Tennessee:  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VNX6-4TQ

Because James' parents are from Pennsylvania, it's possible that Elizabeth's parents are also from Pennsylvania (although there's a large Paxton family out of Rockbridge Virginia).  Often, families crossed the country together and ended up intermarrying.  You might want to see if any Paxtons from Pennsylvania traveled to Tennessee with the William Boyd family.
Very possible!  Thank you so much!!!  My grandfather to whom she was married was James A. Boyd!  I know it may seem ridiculous, but these two grandmothers have had me hitting a brick wall for two years and now I can breathe easier.  LOL

As you move along, this might help :  The Paxton's:  Their origin in Scotland and their migrations through England and Ireland, to the Colony of Pennsylvania, etc:  https://archive.org/details/paxtonstheirorig00paxt
