So the other day I decided to prune my watchlist, not because I ceased to have an interest in the profiles but because I am headed ever closer to the 5000 watchlist recommended limit. I was overjoyed that someone adopted some of them but that joy was soon tempered when I realised that the person had removed all of the clickable links to free sources and replaced them with non-clickable references.
Before, I could click on those Familysearch sources and get the censuses open in a second and from there it was a single click to the original image at Findmypast. Now I have to search manually every time I want to see a census on those profiles, which may still be related to other profiles I still manage. I am not a happy bunny. Why hinder research in this way? It makes no sense whatsoever. I won't be orphaning any more profiles in the future because I don't want the easy access links to information within them destroyed.
