How to code to create an index within a profile?

How to code for linking the lettrrs of the alphabet to section headers titled with the letters of the alphabet within a profile?

Comments

Section headers created using ==== ==== markup will automatically be included in the table of Contents.

I want to link:

A B C D, etc to

==A==

==B==

and so on.

Headings are automatic anchors, so [[#A|label]] will display as label and link to a heading == A ==.
