I'm working on Treis family and was stopped by WikiTree

to post a pre-1700 profile, I need to coordinate with others to see if there is a project including my interests.   I have been attempting to link my Schenectady NY Treis family with ancestors in Germany.  I have not definitely connected the Germans with the New Yorkers, but I think I have found a few connections in the Bremm /Bombogen areas of the Rheinland, (the two cities are about 5-10 miles apart on(near) the Moselle R).  The family name is Treis and I would like to work with anyone else who is interested.  Thanks

PS The specific profile that led to this query is Treis-61 Petrus Ernestus Treis in the Baptismal record, who married Catharina Schmitz in Bremm in 1714
