looking for Thomas McGill bn Ireland 1760 daught eve bn PA 1794

My grandfather is James W. McGill born in S.C. but lived outside of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  He was born in 1925 and died in 2008. Im looking for information on my great grandparents.  Perhaps there are relations.

My 3rd great grandfather was Thomas McGill who was born in South Carolina, and lived and died in Red River, Texas. Some other McGills in my family moved to Mississippi and Alabama.
