Why do Suggestions reappear on records that have been corrected.

Tree Colson-403. I have corrected most of the Find A Grave suggestions of pointing to the wrong record previously. Some of the suggestions reappeared again and when I look at the individual Ridgewell-17 I can find no information relating to  the reported error. How do I fix this so I do not have to do it again in the future.

Did you fill out the "status" after making the correction?

Yes, the Status button was clicked and the Corrected selected then saved

Maybe the report that was run on May 6th didn't catch the corrections you had made on May 5th. It may have been based on a database dump done before you made the corrections.

Wait until the next report has been run in a couple of days and look again.

It'll go away tomorrow.  In the meantime, it looks like you have to click on "Hide Hidden suggestions" at the top.

I'm not sure exactly which error is being reported to you, but I did look at the profile and wondered if this could be related to the error:  Verna Ridgewell married to Alden Harry McBurnie.  "Ridgewell" is showing up as her last name of birth -- which is correct -- but McBurnie probably should be listed as her "current last name" in the spot above where you fill in individual information.  

If she married more than once, then the current last name should show her last name at the time of her death, (and then McBurnie would be in "other last names").

If the error was triggered by a difference between her profile and Findagrave, it might have been caused by the difference in names.

Again, I'm not sure if that's what triggered the error you are seeing, but it is one possibility.  Try changing the current last name from Ridgewell to McBurnie (if that's accurate), and see if it keeps the error from returning.
