When downloading my Ged or Gedcompare, they go to my WORD with an error code.

When I go to my site and press "Download a copy of your GED or your

GED.COMPARE," it downloads into my Word documents and creates an error message.  Please help!!

You need to save it as a .ged file for it to work.

You probably have your browser settings set to download to that folder.

What's the error message you get and when?
