I wanted to share this family photo of Henrietta Heckscher with the community. Location: Pennsylvania. Date: around 1902?
Click here for the image details page or here for the full-sized version (918 x 970).
This picture was put in the Philadelphia Inquirer in July of 1902 in honor of her marriage to Stevens Heckscher, and was graciously fixed up by someone in the genealogy community (it used to have a giant line down the middle, due to the age of the Newspaper. ). It is the only surviving photo of her that I can find -- she died in childbirth at age 33, and a statue of her stands in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of author/orator Henry Armitt Brown.
C'est Bon Magnifique Family Photo Treasure ! Beautiful, Engaging and Classic Expression that transcends "genealogy" time.
