PROBLEM EDITING ONE PERSON [closed]

Question

Hi All  Im having problems editing my mothers profile, she was put on by another member, along with several of her ancestors, so I requested to be put on their trusted list and this was done. I think all the rest of my family I have access to but not my mother, Has anyone any idea how to sort this

So you're on the trusted list, but you're still having problems editing the profile? Is that the situation?

Hi Thats correct, as Iv said, several of my ancestors were  put on by another profile manager, so I requested that I be put on the trusted list, I got the email to say this had happened, and I was able to edit etc on all of my other relatives but not my mother. When I go to her page there is only her profile and tree tabs, nothing for editing, images, changes privacy or private view. Im new to wikitree so am at a loss,  and would be very great full for any help

You should be able to see a private view if you're on the trusted list. Since you can't, I'm going to assume that you actually aren't on her trusted list, so I'd email the profile manager.  He might have overlooked this one profile.

Good gluck reuniting with your mom. : )  And never hesitate to ask questions.  I had to try it out with a profile I manage to see if it definitely works this way, so it's not as though any of us knows everything.  Except, of course, Chris Whitten.
