Gedcom help!

Morning, Folks,

I tried to upload a small gedcom from my Famiky Tree Maker (2014) program yesterday. I added 5e file extension “.ged”, but when I tried to upload, my program added another file extension which prevented the upload. Anybody know what I can do to fix this? Thanks ahead of time.

I am assuming you tried to change the files extension of an .ftm file - which will not work since renaming a file does not change the format of the file.

from FTM, you will need "Export a GEDCOM" file. This can be done from the File > Export... menu.
