Wayne,  Iḿ  not sure about a draft card but he would have been 54 at the invasion of Poland in 1939 and at least 56 by the time  the US entered the war , would foreign nationals also be part of the  the draft ?
Iḿ pretty sure that Griffith lionel Teague has nothing to do with Percy
can you send me more inof on his death record please Wayne Thnaks
You can see death records on Ancestry, com and Draft card.If he worked at

General Motors, must been result of being with Ethyl Corp.I would send you copies but my Printer,Fax,Copier, is out of order. My daughter is coming end of month ,will see what she can do.

If  Nellie was born in 1892, she is unlikely to be having children after 1936 in the US. Presumably they would have been born in Antwerp or in the UK

There are several Griffiths children with mother's maiden name of Chambers registered in England or Wales between 1924 and 1936 but most are unlikely ( ie  there are also Griffiths/Chambers children registered prior to 1924 in the same reg district)  There is one possible registered in Wakefield in 1931.
I haven't checked the UK births overseas register on Find my Past.

BUT, do you have a reference for the marriage date?
I ask because I couldn't find a marriage in London (or elsewhere) for a Percy Griffiths and a Nellie Chambers in 1924.
There is one for Percy L T Griffiths and Nellie Chambers in the first quarter of 1936.
GRO INDEX Wandsworth Surrey  1d 717.

There is also a marriage between Percy Lionel T Griffiths and Eleanor Edith Hayward in Rochford (reg district in Essex) 3Quarter 1909
(All info from search at freebmd https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl )

The 1911 census finds this couple with no children . He aged 26; a clerk, bank agent born Barford St Mark, Salisbury, Wiltshire. She aged 25, born Kenninghall Norfolk. They They had been married 1 year and had no children. They were living at 37 Glengarry Road. E Dulwich. (PRO RG 14,piece 2473 , Camberwell,
South London image viewed on Ancestry UK. (But shorter transcript available at family search)

Unfortunately its not going to be easy to find when Eleanor died. (Several possibles) .

Helen Thank you ,

a)  its indeed unlikey for nellie to  have children after 1936 in the US
b)  I haven't found any children in Spain between 1924 and 1936  ( they had lived in Madrid for a while,  and Iḿ not sure that Nellie stayed with her husband all the time in Antwerp
c) the 1924 marriage (21 jan 1924)  has been taken from the immigration form in Antwerp, and they would have had to provide proof of marriage otherwise - a common law wife situation would have been registered as "leven in boelingschap" ( translates as living together as a family unmarried)
d) Percy Grifftihs was born in Barford, wiltshire as indicates his father Jestyn 1891  census entry in Llanrhidian Higher, Glamorganshire

can you transcribe/download the image to me for the 1911  census entry?  the 1909 marriage is a likely match so if you have more deatils that would be welcomed

The problem is that there are many percy griffith(s) to be found ...

Ancestry.com has the travel details of Percy L. T. Griffiths age 51, and Nellie Griffiths, age 42 yrs and 11mths.

They are travelling on the Aquitania, to New York, and boarded at Cherbourg, France 4 March 1936.  There are no children travelling with them but interestingly his last permanent residence is listed as Antwerp, Belgium, and Nellie's as London, England.  Perhaps this indicates as Helen, has stated that they married in early 1936.

Forgot to add, that his birth place is Wiltshire, England, and Nellie's as London, England.
I am UK born and related to Percy Lionel Teague Griffiths as he was my mothers Uncle. I have several images of him both as a businessman and during WW1 in uniform (possibly aged between 29 and 33). He was married to both Eleanor Edith Hayward and Nellie Chambers (1936 Wandsworth, London, civil ceremony) and had no children. No details of what happened to Eleanor Hayward but is buried in New York Ferncliff Crematory along with Nellie. I have more details should anyone want.
