Did he also go by Bill Lucas? Father Charles Lucas? Married to Nadine Tinneal? Indian heritage?

Question

My mother was Shelbie Lucas who was the daughter of William (Bill) Edward Lucas and Nadine Tinneal. William was in the service and passed away in Fort Worth Texas. Williams father was Charles Lucas who resides in West Virginia. I believe his mother was Mary or Elizabeth Fowler. That's as far as I have gotten. It is believed they were off Cherokee decent.

Did not find his mother, but the Social Security record has the right birth and death dates, but shows him in Maryland. Don't know what to make of that.

I added a profile for William Edward Lucas' father and mother.  I also added two brothers, but I got an "internal error" when I tried to add the fourth child.  I sent an email to Wiki Tech for that error.  The entire family is listed on Find A Grave, with obits for mom and dad.  I added the death records for the four sons, who are all buried in the same cemetery, in Fort Worth, to Mom's profile.

There is additional information regarding the grandparents of William Edward Lucas, which I will be happy to continue to add, if you like.  I am usually not satisfied until I am able to connect the family to existing profiles that link them with the big WikiTREE.  

I do have a particular interest in your ancestors, as Charles and Mary Elizabeth were married in Jefferson, West Virginia.  I have traced my ancestors to this area, when it was part of Virginia, before the Civil War (Shepherdstown).  One of my "brick walls" is Elizabeth Lucas, who married a man whose family was from there, and I think her family was also from the same vicinity.
