Fast way to indicate "not married" and "no children"

I find that when a person on a profile has never been married and had no children, the fact of checking the little square for "no children" or choosing "unmarried" require each, a "save" action, thus, at least 3 "saves" to complete the profile.

Would it be possible to arrange the format as to make this possible while filling out the general information?

I know you lack projects.....

I'm not a techie, but I assume it has something to do with the fact that the profile is for the individual person and the children and spouse edits are in the linking aspect of the way the website is set up.  I don't mind the extra saves because it keeps me checking on things as I update my profiles and new information comes up.

I dont realy mind the clicks either, I just forget to come back after checking or feeding the biography.

I also realise that most managers don't fill these fields; when done, the profile looks neat and complete, otherwide anyone has to consider it as an unfinished profile, waisting time to verify, research and complete it.
