Question about new changes due to GDPR

So I went in and invited my living sister and her son, my nephew to become members and no problems.  I did note however that my sister is now showing as Anderson Anderson and it should be Bonnie, yet her son still has his full name.  Is it just because the system is slow or is it a glitch?  Also, on the side for her it does still show the dna info for both of them but for her it then shows her full name next to Ancestry where her dna is from.  So a little confused.

Assuming you left yourself on the trusted list, you should be able to go into your sisters profile and change her current last name to her married name.

OR you may need to change the preferred first name to whatever the first name should be - one of those 2 things. LOL

Yes, I figured I could because I am the admin for them but I was curious about why her first name got changed to Anderson and If it was part of the new changes due to GDPR.  Didn't want to go mucking about where I was supposed to lol.

Actually that happens quite often - it has nothing to do with the GDPR - so if you need to change the name then feel free to do that.
