I am one of a few female gg grandcildren of Mary C. DAWKINS ACREE (m. of Candice Acree Lancaster - 12/11/1879-10/6/1955: m. of Curtis Early Lancaster - 2/2/1921-1/15/1989:f of Gayle Lorraine Lancaster Dovel - 10/26/1945 - 7/21/2017, my mother.)
All of Candices children all deceased, as well as grandchildren. My mothers DNA info was sent to the History Channels geneolgy program years ago in the generation of their program, however they will not give me access. Is there any way I can help?

You could register your mtDNA test information on your Wikitree profile and ensure that the maternal line profiles connecting you to Mary are correct.

Mary would have to be your mother's mother's mother's mother for your mitochondrial DNA to match hers. If your direct line to Mary includes any male ancestors then you could/would not connect with her via your mtDNA.
