GDPR and adopted children

Sometimes my mind takes strange turns ... lol ... was thinking about the upcoming deletion of profiles for children less than 13 whose birth parents don't manage that profile.

What will happen to the profiles of adopted children who have their birth parents attached but the profiles are managed by the adoptive parents ... and the real parents can't be found or are deceased.  I'm thinking that they will be deleted ... ???

Hi Bob,

I worried about this too. The rule is not about birth parents, though. Just parents. If a child is attached to a profile as "non-biological" that will not make a difference. However, if a child is not attached to their adoptive parents, and is instead attached to their biological parents who are not members, the profiles will need to be deleted.
