where is the "connection finder"?

The quick link is in the drop-down menu under your profile ID; it is called Global Connections.

As Dave notes, you won't be able to view any connections until you have connected your profile to the WikiTree.

LLoyd, welcome to WikiTree,

To find the connection finder, you must, yourself be connected to our 'one' tree. To do this, you must first Volunteer, and then sign our Honour Code.

Once this is done, you will be able to add your parents, g-parents and follow up your line until you connect to our 'one' tree.
