Can a Stewart expert validate this person?

Based on the father's profile, this person does not seem to belong to this lineage

Looks like you forgot to add the link to the profile you are asking about Robin.
that was odd, I asked the question from the profile.....
Strange. Can see him now though.

Balfour Paul thinks there was a 3rd son, name unknown.  Nothing else known either.

Apparently the evidence is only that William was called the 4th lawful son.

A golden opportunity served up on a plate :)

There seems to be a disagreement about the name of the sister, though her husband is agreed on.


A Hugh, son of James, was born about 1633 in Barnstable Mass.

 James is not the father on the profile.

James came to Plymouth in 1621

Indeed there was

with the usual assumption that everybody with the same surname is the same family.

We have Hugh

but we don't give him a father.



@RJ  I saw that "unnamed son" and wanted to just say it was Hugh....but, there are other Hughs born in 1633 as Eddie indicates, so I am concerned that he is just attached to the wrong father.
