DNA testing results to upload?

I see mentioned a lot on your pages a comment on DNA testing and logging your results to see if such and such a person is in your DNA results. I took an AncestryDNA test, but other than saying (thru email) that my results were in and showing me my ethnicity estimate, I have nothing to upload.  Do I have to take another DNA with MyHeritage in order to get something to upload?

You don't actually upload your DNA test to Wikitree - all you do is update your profile to say that you've taken the test.

Here's where you do that: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:DNATests

You can view your AncestryDNA results by opening your Ancestry account. You will see ethnicity estimates and if you click on View All Matches you will see the people you match with. 50 per page.

You can download your raw DNA data from Ancestry and upload it to other sites such as gedmatch.com, FTDNA, MyHeritge.

On Wikitree you can register which test you have taken and DNA information will be propagated along the lines shown in your paper trail. Wikitree does not take uploads of raw data.

But how do I get my raw DNA data from Ancestry to download to GEDmatch, FTDNA or MyHeritage?  That's what I don't understand.
Go to your DNA page. Click the settings button up near the top right. At the top right of the settings page you will see the option and instructions to download raw DNA data. When you have downloaded the file DO NOT unzip it or try to open it. Most of the uploads require the zipped format. You can then use the same file at each of the sites you want to upload to. Follow the instructions on each site.
