Anyone have any info on Benjamin Stone died 9-27-1864 New Brunswick, Canada?

Unable to find his parents.  No info found on his birth or marriage.  His wife states no record of their marriage will be found in a military deposition.  They lived in Baker Brook Canada.  She and the children returned to Dover-Foxcroft, Maine after his death.

If it helps, the info on these Census returns say that both Benjamin and his wife were born in the States, they came to New Brunswick in 1840, and all the kids were born in New Brunswick.  Benjamin is a blacksmith.
Well I knew I was behind on my email, but this was a while ago. Thanks for the info. We have a lot of documents, including the land deeds. She returned to Dover-Foxcroft, ME after his death with the children. Some of them we are having difficulty finding as well. Ben Jr died in the Civil War and is Arlington National. Would love to be able to get there one day to see the site and see if they have any of his personal effects. She refers to him as Captain, but we haven't been able to figure out why. His age makes it unlikely he was in any of the wars. He was quite ill a few years before he died. He was a blacksmith and it was said in the deposition I believe that he and Ben Jr would cross over into Fort Kent, Me to work. We have a lot of info, but nothing that has lead us to his birthdate or who his parents might be.

A family historian with the ID pascoagwood has posted a land transaction deed between Benjamin Stone and some of his census neighbours, dated 1852.  Hope you can see it here:

If you don't have an Ancestry membership, let me know.   If you do have a membership and still can't see it, try substituting where the link has

It looks like pascoagwood logged in to Ancestry today, so hopefully you can make contact.

Please don't mind that i am not directly answering your question as to where Benjamin came from.  When the answer to that is not immediately forthcoming, i find it very useful to build up a picture of the subject's life by finding every possible bit of info about him and those close to him.  Eventually that opens up new avenues of research which yield results.
Some land transaction info might be available here:
Ah, I see that you are connected to the name Larrabee and thus you probably already have this document on your tree at Ancestry!  Welcome to WikiTree - and thanks for making a profile for Benjamin. The answer is out there somewhere!
