Looks like her husband,Nathan Harris , died in SC the same year, 1836.

Could it be true that when Elizabeth and Nathan Harris both died in 1836 that he was buried in SC and his wife was buried in NC?  Puzzling.

There was certainly travel between Virginia and the Carolinas into Kentucky and Tennessee (through the Cumberland Gap) during the time of Elizabeth Dillards life. However, this is probably not the Elizabeth Dillard who died in Smith. She probably married so her name wouldn't be Dillard anymore. Random things happen, but this would be really random.
