Stalin's daughter Svetlana is the reason he's so easily connected. She defected to the US in the '60s, and she met Frank Lloyd Wright's widow Olgivanna. Olgivanna had mystical leanings, and believed Svetlana had been sent to replace her own daughter, also named Svetlana, who had died in a car crash in 1946. She basically arranged for the new Svetlana to marry the deceased Svetlana's husband, Wes Peters.
