Although I am new to WikiTree I am not new to genealogy. I have been researching my family history for about 15 years. I had to take a bit of a break when my husband was sent to Shanghai, China for 4 1/2 years. I was home for a few years as well before I picked it up again. My mother-in-law passed away very recently and my husband inherited hundreds of old photos of their family and friends. That, of course, piqued my interest so I am diving back in the deep end. I am researching my McKean family as well as my husband's family. I'm getting brick walls with his Scott and Priest families. They are both very common surnames I'm finding.
