Conflict in merging these two profiles, PPP vs. lowest # profile.

Question

Trying to complete merge for Daniel Morgan. When I try to compete the merge, I get a red message saying that Morgan-6223 is project protected and it cannot be merged into any other profile.  Click to reverse the merge into Morgan-2800 which, when I click it I get the message that merges must go into the lowest number profile. We have a Catch-22 situation here.  Please help complete this merge.

I've unprotected the Morgan-6223 profile so it should now be able to be merged into Morgan-2800.

I've put project protection back, but now the profile should be managed by a project and have the associated project box. If not, we'll have to remove PPP. Any ideas for a project to adopt him?

Definitely a Notable, if nothing else, but also a listed Founding Father, so maybe 1776.

Also a Nominated Profile, so maybe Profile Improvement keep an eye on them.

Just as a note Profile Improvement is a functional project (as opposed to topical) and is not set up to watch over profiles. He's wearing a 1776 sticker, I would contact 1776 leadership
