I recently discovered that Marion Robert Morrison and I share the same ancestors, John Simmons (1644-1711) & Martha Shepherd. Two great granddaughters of John & Martha are my 6th great grandmothers. In addition, Marion aka John Wayne's 7th great grandparents, William Chase (1607-1659) & Mary Townley (1603-1659) are my 10th great grandparents. William & Mary Townley Chase are in my family tree on multiple branches.
