Merge problem .. is it because one is unlisted? [closed]

As a result of changes currently being made, all profiles for living, non-WikiTree members are being set to Unlisted privacy. You will not be able to merge the two profiles you want to merge unless you are on the Trusted List for both of them. You could send a message to the other profile manager and request to be added to the Trusted List for Edwards-15118.

It might be because the server is currently broken.  I'm trying to connect two profiles and I'm getting a "Wikitree is currently unable to handle this request, HTTP ERROR 500" error message.
