What's happening to my points?

Question

First of all, this is not a big deal. Having said that, I've voted up a number of photos and questions in the past week but my G2G points have remained the same. Is there a reason? Thanks!

I think I might know what's happening. When you upvote someone else's question, it doesn't add to your G2G points. Only upvotes on answers will add to your point total.

Thanks Ellen. I went back and read about G2G points, and sure enough, no points for voting up questions. I never paid much attention to points before, but now I'm getting close to the G2G6 badge and I guess I got over-anxious. Thanks again!

That's why I'm upvoting questions lately, not answers, I don't want the points myself but want those deserving to have them, like you Robin!

Hello Robin.

You don't get G2G points for up voting questions. The list of actions generating G2G points is in the following help page:
