Does anyone know if General Richard Prescott, b. England 1725 left descendants?

I can see why no American would want to claim this person as an ancestor.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Prescott

But seems likely that he could have left descendants in both Canada and Rhode Island, and perhaps had a wife in England where he returned? Anyone know? My family has both autosomal Gedmatch kits and a Y-DNA test with which to compare...Thanks for all help.

Another potential Y-DNA match could be with descendants of Robert Prescott, also b. 1725 in England and sent to Canada. This bio says he was married and had at least two daughters. Looking for sons. http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/prescott_robert_5E.html

Thank you!
