Locating my Brick Wall Ancestors

+9 votes
Brick Wall Ancestor Challenge,

After pulling considerable documentation, I have found a number of my brick wall ancestors hiding on Wikitree!  They aren't easy to see, but as I collected more facts on them I was able to recognize and confirm that they were an existing profile on wikitree.

This may be true for many of you, as you attempt to locate the parents associated with your ancestors on the list wikitree provided to us a few months ago.

I just wanted to pass this on, so that you can study the profiles on Wikitree before you create a new profile and possibly create a duplicate profile.

My first reaction to your post was: 'You must not have many brick wall ancestor's if they're hard to find...'  :)

I have some brick wall ancestor's that even working with a group on Ancestry we are having trouble figuring out who the parents are of some of my ancestors.  You would think a persons parents would be clear, but not always.  I am going to look at some special places that I recently read about on those Family History bulletins.
