Question

After linking up to William Albini-38, This makes William the 24th great grandfather of Martha.  Now I am not sure where to start next.

The relationship finder returned a prospective but unverified trail between you and William d'Aubigny.  Many of the parent-child relationships are uncertain. Each relationship must be proved or establised by reliable, authoritative sources that provides strong evidence that supports (establishes the accuracy) of each parent-child relationship.  Even those that are marked confirmed by DNA must contain supporting documentary evidence that establishes the parent-child relationship as being accurate and true.

I am able to document up to Pre-1500 Profiles.  Then what am I to do?

I have already tried to get my Pre-1500 three different times, but I am just not good enough to receive it yet.

I would be working on properly sourcing the profiles that you are currently able to work on.  An important part of qualifying for Pre-1500 certification is a demonstrated ability to properly source and document Pre-1700 profiles.  Another requirement is being a contributing member of a Wikitree Project that also would give you the opportunity to demonstrate your level of research, documentation and sourcing skills.  Each of these factors among others are reviewed before a Pre-1500 badge is issued.

Martha, I had a look at the 'gateway ancestor' Joseph Stratton (Stratton-415) married  to Joane Button. Since he was said to have been married in Wiltshire and I have acess to images of the Wilts registers on ancestry, I thought I'd try and find and add a primary source.This is what I found.
Text from source;
1625: Francis Stratton and Joane Button were marryed the 13th day of june.
Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre; Chippenham, Wiltshire, England; Wiltshire Parish Registers; Reference Number: 1154/2 Bremhill, parish register.
If the man who went to Virginia was a Joseph, this isn't his wife.

Edward Stratton junr buryed 11th May 1645
(Note there was an Edward Stratton son of Alice and Alexander bapt in 1617 and hence older than the child of Francis. Sen and jun are quite often used to distinguish two people with the same name in a parish register.It doesn't necessarily mean Edward the son of Edward.)

1654, Francis Stratton buryed 4 June
1654 Joane Stratton wife of Francis buryed 17 June.
1654 Mary the wife of Francis buryed 20 June
1654 November at Bishop's Canning(about 8 miles away) Francis Stratton married Ann Grey.
A Francis Stratton was then buried in the neigbouring parish of Calne. 27 Oct 1660
It does not appear that this family went to Virginia .I will put a comment on Joanes profile and propose unlinking from Joseph . Joseph was in any case supposed to have been born in Suffolk, a long way from Wiltshire.

Thinking of another case with 3 Johns, two adults and a child, no fathers and sons.  Middle one buried first as John junior.  Then the old man was plain John, and the child was buried as John son of William.
