Hi, Theresa. Last Saturday, GEDmatch posted this on their post-log-on page:
"May 26, 2018 We are still working to hide GEDCOM entries for Living individuals, as required by GDPR. Until we complete this effort, you will likely see many entries hidden."
GDPR bites us again. Seems just about everyone is struggling with the same issues. The GEDCOMs at FTDNA are (somewhat) similarly affected: all individuals with missing death dates, regardless of the birth date, are being displayed as "private" to both matches and the public, even if sharing is set to "public."
As for the WikiTree links being displayed on the Tier 1 "Matching Segment Search" or "Triangulation" reports, I would think that would be entirely up to GEDmatch. Right now, I think they're still hustling as fast as they can between GDPR and the GSK/Parabon repercussions. And I can't say with any knowledge, but there may some technical issues with linking to WT profiles from within the GEDmatch Tier 1 paywall. Dunno.
