May I post my deceased sister's AncestryDNA and GEDMatch number since I manage her kit?

I tried to add her AncestryDNA Username and her GEDMatch number, and Wikitree would not accept them.... She is deceased and I do manage her DNA kit at Ancestry. Her Username is Jacqui Hill and her GEDMatch number is A150845

I am by no means an expert but I believe that you can post DNA data for a deceased family member on their profile. If you have a profile on WikiTree for her and you manage it then adding the DNA data should be possible

Thanks for your reply, Dale. I think maybe the problem is with an Ancestry username. Since my sister was not a member of Ancestry (I got the test for her and registered it for her, back in the day when that was allowed)--- maybe she didn't have a username..... What to do now??

That was it, Dale! I changed the Ancestry Username to MY username (since my sister did not have one), and it went through.

If you want to be able to use your sister's DNA test information on WikiTree it would be a good idea to change her privacy level from 'private' to 'private with public biography and family tree' so others can see how they're related to her.
