Hi all, can someone tell me if I should add my mother to the surnames of Ferguson or Blankenship. She has no proof of birth. the midwife deliverd her. she has gone by Cregger of her last surname. mother thought she was either a Blankenship or Ferguson. I have looked for a birth record or something stating she was born. but I cant find anything. she was born 1930. which I am wondering about.

thanks,

So try finding her in the 1940 census, and go back in time from there.

I assume she is living from your verb tense, so you will be the only one who sees her profile. I would use "Unknown" for now, and then edit it when you find solid proof.
