What is the easiest way to find a profile not on your watchlist?

I usually use the Find>Search and fill in the name and birth or death date, and use the radio buttons below it to sort out the useless (undated) matches. Sometimes, if the list is long, I use the browser's search function to find it by location or date if I have that.

Even if they are on your watchlist, without knowing the first name or any dates, you can't find it this way in my experience.

I've gotten fastest results from running a google search with the person's first and last name in quotation marks, followed by a space, then their birth date (if I know it), followed by the word WikiTree.

This kind of google search typically returns the person I'm searching for, if they have a WikiTree profile--and this is an especially good method to use for notables, such as authors or celebrities who go by a different name that we tend to recognize, yet have a real given name that might not be so well-known.
