So we have Stephen Taylor (1816 - 1882), husband of Amelia Patrick (1818 - 1892) and father to William Patton Taylor (1846 - 1940).

I was just comparing the WikiTree to Family Search and there is a discrepancy regarding the parents.  

Here in the WikiTree Stephen Taylor is listed as the Son of Samuel Taylor and Mary Ann Price.

However in Family Search he is listed as the son of Samuel Taylor Jr *1787 - 1875) and Nancy Pheobe Sword (1786 - 1826).

Who are the correct parents?

Shows he has sons John R, George W.,Daughters,Amanda,Elizabeth,shows sister Rachel and Amanda.

He died a wealthy man,Also owned property,in New York and Brooklyn

County,Virginia.
