According to her children's' SS applications (found on Ancestry), Rosa was her middle name. Her first name was Queen. Her name was well and truly mangled in the 1900 and 1910 census records. Husband was Clifford Furman Hughes.

Aha! I finally found Rosa and her daughters in 1940. Apparently, she and Clifford were separated/divorced by then.
