Shared Photo: Fourth of July Parade

Question

I wanted to share this photo of a 4th of July parade in Uniontown Washington with the community. Uniontown, in the southeast corner of Washington State was founded by German immigrants, including members of my family (surnames Portz, Jacobs, Triesch, Schlader, Nosbisch, Schneider, Braun). In 1900 Uniontown's streets still weren't paved but prosperity was on the horizon for its citizens. Today Uniontown sits in the middle of one of the most productive wheat-growing regions in the world and is home to 300 people.

Location: Uniontown Washington. Date: July 4, 1900.

What a grand photograph. It is as grand as the Parade itself. No massive advertisement. Just a wonderful Parade with Wonderful people watching. A photo can help take you back in the day with wonderful people celebrating. Looks like a lot of the town came out to watch.Thank you for sharing a gone by era and it's celebration with us.

I Like this photo .. The whole Town was proudly posing .. I like the little girl and possibly her mom in white in the front left who are looking at the photographer along with many of the Gents on the right.
