inadvertent privacy level changes - not GDPR

This is not about the recent system-wide changes to protect the privacy of living people.  This is about working on a profile that is open, and connecting with another profile that is open, and suddenly having one of the profiles jump to yellow all by itself, not because the PM saw what was going on and 'raised the drawbridge' as it were.

It only happened to me once, but while asking a question about it, i learned that it has happened to other WikiTreers as well.

I noticed this a few months ago, I don't think it is related to the GDPR.

If you link an open profile to a child or spouse profile that is still living, you will see the open profile's privacy level change to reflect its relationship to a living person.

That's the way it's supposed to be, but I have also found cases where I connect 2 open profiles (both non-living, of course) and the privacy of one changes to yellow.  I think it happens only when I am the manager of one, but not the other - the one that I don't manage is the one that changes.  It's very frustrating because I have all kinds of sources to add and end up not being able to do it.
