Wikidata Ancestors not linking

I have two Notables profiles, father and daughter, both in Wikipedia and both set up in Wikidata. When I click on the Ancestors button in each profile, the other does not show up. Isn't that the point?

So when I go to Helen Diana Bridgeman and click on the Ancestors button, I can see Orlando Bridgeman as father. I'm not sure why it might not have appeared before, but it seems to be working now.

Also remember that the Ancestors feature in Wikidata is not connected to WikiTree. That is all driven by the Wikidata father and mother parameters set on each Wikidata item.
Wikidata hasn't made the connection between Helen and her father.  It doesn't discover these things automatically - somebody has to put it in.
Exactly so. I've just done this for a few generations of Diana's paternal line.
Thank you to everyone for jumping in! [imaginary emoji of kiss]
