Question

I have a tree on MyHeritage.com. how do I create a GEDCOM to import it to wikitree? Thanks.

Open MyHeritage - Then open the folder you are going to make a GEDCOM from. Then, at  the upper left corner look for "file"  This will be a pull down menu.  Then, click on Export GEDCOM file.  Follow the instructions.  Name the file and notice where it is stored.  When importing into WikiTree go to the upper right at Add +  then follow the instructions after clicking on GEDCOMs. Import the file with the name you made in MyHeritage.

Can you please advise where the "file" is located on the upper left corner?

I have MyHeritage family tree but canno locate "file"!!!!

Look for the word FILE at the left and click on it with your mouse.  This will open the drop down menu.  Then, look for Export GEDCOM, it should turn light blue when your curser lights it up, click, and follow through with the instructions given.

I believe that the MyHeritage site has rearranged their links.

I found "Export GEDCOM", then went backwards to try and explain how I found it.

I will update when I manage to find it again.

Found it!

On MyHeritage.com, go to Family Tree, pulldown menu to Manage Trees, on the same line as your tree, follow to the right to Actions. In that list should be Export to GEDCOM.

Also in MyHeritage Help, type in "Export GEDCOM"
