I recently found an 1830 census and I found a name of "George Mc Clain" I have been struggling finding information on him with the so little I know about him. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this your George McClain (spelled McLean here)?  http://services.dar.org/public/dar_research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A077948  If you click the little D box next to each son, you will see the line for that member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

I think it might. I will read some more into it. Again it's hard to find links with so little information given from the 1830 census.

 Thank you
