I use to know of a few Wagner families down near Davies county. But down there you could throw a stone and hit a Wagner or knepp.

Thank you for writing! I have three generations of Wagner men who lived in Indiana. All some version of Anton so that’s fun. Ha! I am curious as to why my 2nd great grandfather immigrated from Prussia/Germany to Indiana. I could tell there are a lot of Wagners there, but haven’t found any historical information about it.

Rosemary, welcome to WikiTree. Hopefully you'll find us a friendly and helpful bunch of people. I have no Wagner relatives in Indiana but do have quite a collection of folk with other names who were born and raised there. Just wanted to give you a pointer which you may already have discovered: if you click on any underlined Wagner, you'll see the Wagner profiles of all eras that are currently entered into the site. You can easily arrange their order by date, first name and several other ways. Living persons, of course, will appear as "unlisted."
