Connecting Absalom Miller (1811-1877) to Jacob Miller (1778-1837) & Elizabeth Orndorff (1777-1860)

I'm looking for a source connecting Abs0lom Miller (1811-1877; Miller-56813) to his alleged parents, Jacob Miller (1778-1837; Miller-7600) and Elizabeth Orndorff (1777-1860; Orndorff-10)

I was working on a small set of profiles of a distant DNA cousin to see if they linked to my ancestors, but no luck... but I'd rather not be ditching profiles unconnected from the main trunk of the global tree. So I kept working out on this particular set, trying to find a connection between this island and the mainland.

I think that I've finally found a feasible path from that "island": I noticed that according to FamilySearch: Absolom Miller (1811-1877) is the son of Jacob Miller (1778-1837) and Elizabeth Orndorff (1777-1860). I've added up to Absolom; Jacob and Elizabeth are already on WikiTree. And Jacob is connected, if somewhat distantly, to the trunk of the global tree. So it's just a matter of making that connection.

There are a few unique sources on Jacob Miller's FamilySearch profile that I'm not able to evaulate (e.g. offline books), though none seem (to me) to connect him to Absolom Miller.

This relationship isn't, I think, a far-fetched idea, although there are a few Millers living in the area. Both are from the same small town, Adairville, Logan, Kentucky, United States.

So perhaps someone in here can find the final piece and finish the bridge to the global tree by sourcing the connection to Absolom Miller's parents... or if that fails, perhaps another individual in the profiles connected to him might prove connectable.

WikiTree profile: Absolom Miller

Has a search been made for Jacob Miller’s will? It may name all his children.

Family Search has Kentucky probate records online, but they are only partially indexed. The Family Search indexes do not presently include Logan County.

I did not look for the records of his estate.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I believe i’ve Found your connection. The will is at this link https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9PSR-9Y4F?i=23&wc=37RV-L2W%3A173478001%2C174160801&cc=1875188 this is image 24.

The will names “my beloved wife, Elizabeth” and ”my two sons jointly Absalom and Jacob Miller”

Hah I came to post that I found his will but it looks like we found it about the same time :)
Great minds think alike!
BTW: we appear to be cousins!
Thanks for the help to both you, George, and to Jamie! The connection has been made and additional sources noted.
