Merging Crouse-463 into Crouse-187 - I do not understand why this merge does not go through! HELP!!!

I have tried many times to process this merge but I can not get it to go through.  It should not be a permission problem as it is a No response for Crouse-187 (and Crouse-463). Default approval.  I do not understand what is wrong.  PLEASE HELP!

I think you might be a victim of the new privacy rules. I notice that Crouse-187 doesn't have any dates, so it may be that even though it is Open it can't be edited. When I tried the merge it said one of the profiles was not Open.

Crouse-187 is not Open.  It is Public (green).  That is why the merge won't go through.  It needs the profile manager or a member of the Trusted List to do the merge.

Okay.  I have sent a request to the profile owner of crouse-187.  Hopefully the owner will add me.  If the owner does not, what then?
