Question

It is very difficult to tell in this Black and white photo, but it seems to me that my father is flying the British flag while in South Africa. What do you think?

It is very hard for me to imagine him that young, younger by far than I am at the moment, anyone have the same problem?

He had lots of hair then as did I when I was younger Lol

This is a classic, Shaun! Somebody doing something besides sitting for a pose (though those are good, too). You’ve got a treasure!

Thank you Pip, it is a treasure indeed and something no-one new about or have ever seen until after my fathers death. He kept it well hidden for some reason.
