Has anyone else inexplicably lost the place name suggestions for birth and death place editing?

Question

Since accepting the new cookie and privacy policy - which may be a coincidence - I have lost all place name suggestions when editing profiles for birth and death place. My death place still shows "hide place name suggestions" next to the field, so I have no reason to believe anything has changed from a user settings perspective. It's a small thing, but kind of a death by papercuts as far as time use goes. Any help appreciated!

I've lost it also. Was peek-a-boo for a few days, but has not returned for at least 24 hours. Miss it. I tried the RootSearch problem fix, with no results for this problem.

Yes I have and I use Chrome on a Chromebook. What baffles me is that it's not happening on every profile I visit.

And me. Don't use it that often, but it is nice if parts of location are not known to me.

Gone for me too. I'm using IE11 on a Windows 10 PC, so looks like it is not specific to any particular browser or operating system.

Ditto on the loss ... using Firefox and tried MS Edge too ...

It's failing for me too. I'm on Mac / Firefox.

The first thing I did was reboot my Mac entirely.  After I started Firefox again, the drop down worked ONCE.  Then it stopped working again.

I then decided to give Safari a try.  Didn't work there for me either.

Seems to be sporadic and platform independent. The only pattern I’ve seen is it working for an empty field but not working for a field with content you are changing.

Same for me.  It doesn't work on empty fields, but sometimes when I am editing locations.  I use different browsers, so I'll have to investigate.
