Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people? Michauds in Canada

I want to help contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree.

1.) Geographical region and time period:   Canada

2.) Some example names and dates:  Pierre Michaud 1681-1760

3.) Source(s) for my information on them:   Michaud-229  I have several profiles I created in 2014.  I'd like to be able to update them as more documentation becomes available.

Before I get started adding and changing profiles, can you tell me if there is a WikiTree project that would cover these people? If so, how do I get in touch with the project members to coordinate and collaborate on the profiles?

Hi Karen,

The project you are looking for is the Québécois project, which covers those who lived in Canada, Nouvelle-France (roughly corresponding to modern-day Québec) prior to its dissolution in 1763.  You can find a wealth of information on the project page (linked here), including guidance on location fields and naming conventions for the period.

If you are interested in joining the project, please follow the instructions on the Québécois project page.  I'm also including the link to the G2G post here for joining the project.
